Too good to be true?

As  I did my today’s reading, I thank the Lord for the joy that fills my heart in which He causes me to praise His glorious Name on high (Isaiah 60:4-7, NIV). Indeed, the glory of God fills up my heart that replaces all the tears and sadness that I have hidden inside my heart.

As such, I thank God for giving me an eternal life where my faith is justified through Jesus Christ. Through my faith justification in Jesus Christ, I desire to bring glory to the Father by sharing the love of God to those in whom I know around me (Romans 8:34/38, NIV).

Lets bring the glory to God today!

MAJULAH SINGAPURA!

As I read my today’s devotion and mediated upon what apostle Paul said, “I urge, then, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for all people – for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good, and pleases God our Saviour, who wants all people to be saved and to come to a’ knowledge of the truth. For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus” (1Timothy 2:1-5, NIV), I pray for Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and his comrades of men &women in Cabinet + Members of Parliament to help Singaporeans tackle pressing needs as they express their worries and aspirations to the Government. And, I pray for the Government to carry out their duties responsibly, addressing the concerns and advancing the interests of Singaporeans today.

On this National Day, I speak of divine protection in spirit, soul, and body and divine grace to heal the wounds of the nation, divine insight to turn crisis into opportunity for national flourishing, divine conviction to do the right thing in the right way and for all the right reasons. I pray for the Government to have divine favour on home ground and on the international stage to inaugurate and expedite God’s perfect will in Singapore and through Singapore to the rest of the world.
