Don’t work in vain!

As I was reflecting upon Psalm 127:1 (NIV), I see how the Lord teaches the Psalmist to wait until He has given guidance for one to move ahead in conscious dependence on Him. By this, the Lord is reminding me that my security ultimately lies in Him. Indeed the Lord spoke to me saying, “Let my presence fall upon your life”. This encourages me to pray for His divine presence to be among the things, work and social life that I am doing in service to the Lord. I am drawn to the fact how the disciples were commanded by the Lord to preach the gospel to the whole creation (Mark 16:15, NIV).

As an individual Church, I am thankful that Christ has set a purpose in me to preach the gospel to pre-believers and enfold them (abled-bodied & PwDs) into the Church. As how Christ did the Father’s business in the redemptive work of mankind, so I have a part of this redemptive work of evangelizing and sharing the gospel with pre-believers today (John 5:17, NIV);

Let’s build a House of God as we labour the work for Him so that everything goes back to the Lord.

As I did my today’s meditation, I pondered upon how the disciple Simon Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, do you wash my feet? .... You shall never...
