Have you ever had one of those days when nothing goes right?
As I meditated upon what the apostle said, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything;” (Philippians 4:6, NLT), this reminds me that I have two choices - to worry, or to worship God.
And, I’m reminded of how the Moabites, Ammonites, and Meunite ganged up on King Jehoshaphat when the king received a report that they were on their way to fight the nation of Israel, yet Jehoshaphat chose to worship by asking God for help: “Jehoshaphat was afraid, so he decided to ask the LORD what to do” (2 Chronicles 20:3 NCV) than letting his fear intimidate him, discouraging him, or causing him to give up. But, instead, Jehoshaphat let his fear motivate him to worship through prayer.
Today, I aim to let my life become worship to God through living a worshipful lifestyle.
When have you chosen to worry instead of worship?
As Paul also described that we’re God’s possession having us to be predestined according to His the plan who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of His will as we live out His purpose for our lives today (Ephesians 1:11 & 14, NIV).
