Defining Revival

Dear Blogger Friends,

Here is your inspirational message below!

Defining Revival:

In my today’s devotion, I do find the characteristic is to praise God’s glorious name to see His glory to fill the whole earth and seeing God’s reign above all creation (Psalm 72:18-19). Indeed, spiritual revival is being described as inrush of divine life into a body threatening to become a corpse said by D.M Panton. Christmas Evans (an old Welsh preacher) once said on how revival is bending down to the dying embers of a fire just about to go out until it bursts into a flame. It is quite true to say how revival wakes us up and helps us to live on.

A barren desert could be fruitful when the fertility of the land increases with the personal presence of the Lord into glory and excellence, that is greatly rejoicing to celebrate the transformation of the desert into well irrigated fields (Isaiah 35:1-7) as these writers mentioned inside the Every Day with Jesus devotional text today. J. Edwin Orr also wrote on how revival takes place when we experience ‘times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord’ as stated in the devotional text too.

By this, I desire to have a face confession with the Lord as I come in the times of refreshing season that may come upon my life (Acts 3:19).

Let Revival fall upon our lives today!

As I did my today’s meditation, I pondered upon how the disciple Simon Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, do you wash my feet? .... You shall never...
