Amazing Love

As I meditated upon how the Father God said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased” (Matthew 3:17b, NIV) in my today’s reading, I could imagine how the Father God expressed the divine love for His Son – Jesus witnessed by the Holy Spirit that is unquestionable. Truly, this causes me to love God back as One Trinitarian God just as the heavenly Father loves the Son – Jesus, and how He tells us that He loves us dearly, “As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you” (John 15:9, NIV). And, I thank God to see how George Matheson (1842–1906), as hymn writer puts it, “Oh love that will not let me go; I rest my weary soul in you; I give you back the life I owe; that in your ocean depths its flow; may richer, fuller be” as featured inside the Every Day with Jesus online devotional text.

Truly, I praise the LORD to know how His divine love saw me through the past 7 months of studies (7th Dec 21 to 3rd June 22) in CHPA Human Resources course with Human Capital Singapore and I had graduated @ Istana and was conferred by President Hamliah Yacob together with other 22 PwD graduates (3rd Nov 2022). I also pray for God to help me apply my HR skills to my future work in Project Stories for LIFE task ahead as I lead my team forward into the future that the LORD is taking me into. Indeed, I had learned to be a resilient person as I adapt myself to the workplace that I will be working in one day, as I contribute my value to the economic growth of the society today.

As such, I offer up my praise and thank Him for His unquestionable love that has seen me through all this while encouraging me to love Him back greatly.

Do you thank God for His unquestionable love that He has shown you today?

As I did my today’s meditation, I pondered upon how the disciple Simon Peter said to Jesus, “Lord, do you wash my feet? .... You shall never...
