Rabbi Schneider Breaks the Silence on the Prophetic Link Between Passover and the Last Supper!
In an article by Rabbi Schneider, he shows the fact that “the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel” was to kill the Passover lamb reminded them that their redemption was personal as well as collective because every individual was involved. (Reported by Rabbi Kirt Schneider, a television host (18th Apr 2025) – https://mycharisma.com/propheticrevival/rabbi-schneider-breaks-the-silence-on-the-prophetic-link-between-passover-and-the-last-supper/)

He Became the Better Man, The Two Gardens of Maundy Thursday – Clinton Manley in this article speaks of how God loves a good garden especially if that garden is on a mountaintop. In fact, God’s great story of redemption is largely a tale of two gardens. The tale begins and ends in the garden of Eden, which starts as an arboretum and ends as a paradisal city. But between the Bible’s bookends, we stumble into a very different garden: Gethsemane.

On this Holy Thursday, as we remember the agony of Jesus under the olive trees, what fruit might we glean by comparing Eden and Gethsemane?

Shocking Prophetic Warning – Is God Judging the Church’s Integrity Today?
In a recent prophetic message, Jeremiah Johnson shared how the message of Acts 5 highlights the stark contrast between Barnabas and Ananias and Sapphira. “Barnabas sells his land and gives all the proceeds to the apostles,” but Ananias and Sapphira, “appear to do the same, but secretly withhold part of the money.” The key issue is not that they owned possessions, but their deception. “Their sin was not having land… their sin was in the fact that they made a vow or a promise to give it all and they did not.” (Reported by Abby Trivett, is content development editor for Charisma Media in Prophetic Insight Newsletter (10th Apr 2025) – https://mycharisma.com/propheticrevival/shocking-prophetic-warning-is-god-judging-the-churchs-integrity-today/)

Contemplating Existence, Life and Consciousness – In this article by Terence Ho, he says that though relationships may offer an answer to the puzzle of existence, yet it may be pointless question to talk about human existence if there is no deeper reason for existence. He finds out that though there is resurrection from the dead that cannot be comprehended beyond human capability and how this is still poorly understood by others for them to generally accept the model for the origin of life. Yet, the Christian faith embraces a perfect relationship between Creator and created beings, as well as perfect relationships among created being, as humans long for an enjoyable relationship with God forever. Is There Any Point in Reading Ecclesiastes? – In this article, Bishop Emeritus Robert M Solomon urges us to examine carefully whether reading Ecclesiastes will be spiritually profitable, calling us to recognise that it is in the biblical Canon, and how it does prepare us to receive the gospel of Christ, and at the entrance of every road that represents the popular broad road that Jesus warned against (Matthew 7:13–14, NIV) – having a placard warning “Meaningless!,” and if we take heed, we will find the narrow road of salvation and fulfilment in Christ.

In this article, Rev Dr Billy Kristan shares how the coming of God’s kingdom through the cultural mandate is served as a witness to the kingship and lordship of Christ and that the cultural mandate precedes the evangelistic mandate, whose aim is to proclaim the gospel to all people with the hope that they may know Jesus Christ, who “fully reveals to us the secret counsel and will of God” (Heidelberg Catechism, Q/A 31). And by this, we imitate the righteousness of Christ while participating in the story of his kingdom when we carry the cultural mandate. The Mountain Shall Be Yours – In the article by Dr Michelle Corral, she asked, Have you ever been so intimidated by your trials and tribulations that you thought, “This cannot be God’s will”? Jesus promised that your faith will move a mountain: “You will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move, and nothing will be impossible for you” (Matt. 17:20, ESV). Calling Our Name

As I pondered upon my Easter Sunday’s reading, I could imagined how “‘Jesus said to her, “Mary’” (John 20:16, NIV) seeing that now Mary was all alone after the disciple had gone home after checking the scene out to find Jesus body was not there (John 20:10, NIV), and that two angels asked her why she’s crying – perhaps she would have been in a state of confusion while having a conversation with the two angelic beings. Yet, suddenly when the gardener (Jesus), asking the same question to her – why was she crying? However, Mary doesn’t recognise Jesus till He speaks her name out in the Garden of Gethsemane (John 20:14, NIV)  and there, she felt overjoyed hearing His voice.

Today, my heart feels glad when Jesus calls out my name “Jeremy” knowing that He has risen from the grave (Luke 23:34b, NIV), and how I can praise Jesus for knowing my fears, my sadness, my triumphs and my woes as I encounter them in life presently. Indeed, it would be wonderful to hear our names spoken in love, as we turn and recognise Jesus who has loved us since before we were born.

How do you feel when Jesus calls you and that He speaks out your name today?

Forgive

As I pondered upon my Good Friday’s reading, I saw that although Jesus was being crucified on the cross, He was able to forgive His enemies – teaching people about the importance of forgiveness throughout His ministry; that He has the power to forgive sins (Matthew 9:6a, NIV) especially when He prayed, “Father, forgive them for they do not know what they are doing” (Luke 23:34a, NIV) and this prompts you & me to forgive each other (Matthew 6:14, NIV ) since Jesus came to restore relationship between God and humankind, and that God was forgave us through the blood of Christ, reconciling us to Him (2 Corinthians 5:18, NIV). Truly, forgiveness is indeed the underlying element in the whole gospel message.

Today, I choose to forgive someone who has said things wrong about me or done something wrong towards me and that I forgive the person just as Christ has forgiven the person through the blood of redemption at the cross. For unforgiveness causes an ongoing rift between God and ourselves yet Jesus has forgiven us through His blood of redemption at the cross for all we have said and done to offend Him and others. Truly also, Jesus takes off the burden from us as we release our spirit of unforgiveness up to Him – helping us to forgive ourselves and others even though times can be difficult too.

Is there anyone you hold unforgiveness towards today?

Are you glad to see Jesus?

As I pondered upon my Palm Sunday’s reading, there seems to be a jubilant atmosphere among the people of Israel on the first day of the week when Jesus rode into Jerusalem on a donkey (Mark 1:1–11, KJV 1900). The people had waited a long time for the promised Messiah. Since the time of Abraham, they had longed to see their promised King, the Seed promised in the Garden and confirmed to Abraham – the Seed who would conquer their enemies and bless the nations (Genesis 22:17–18, KJV 1900).

But this King did not look as they would have expected.
Kings rode on horses. This King rode on a donkey.
Kings were adorned in royal apparel. This King wore the clothes of a humble peasant.
Kings were accompanied by an entourage of fighting men. This King rode in alone, followed only by a few friends.
Kings had many servants. This King served many.
Kings ruled over the people. This King ministered to the people.
Kings feasted on sumptuous foods prepared for them. This King multiplied fish and loaves to feed others.
Kings wore crowns of gold and precious gems. This King soon wore a crown of thorns.

Kings made loud proclamations and the people were silent. This King was stood silent when the people yelled, “Crucify Him.”

Kings were protected at all costs. This King soon gave His life paying the cost of all sin.

This King was unlike any other king, and yet, when this King rode into Jerusalem on a donkey, He was hailed by the people.

“And they that went before, and they that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna; Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord. Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest” (Mark 11:9–10, KJV 1900). The people expected a King and they hailed Jesus as King. They expected the Kingdom of David to be re-established. But that’s not what they got. It was what they wanted, but it was not what they needed.

Jesus had not come to be King of the land. He came to be the King of their hearts. God’s plan was very different than what the people had hoped for. Their desire had been to have a ruler who would overcome Roman oppression. One who would restore them to the dominion of their land and would give them rule over the surrounding nations. That’s the King for whom they had been waiting. And one day, Jesus will come and He will be that King.

One day Israel will receive their full inheritance. But the day in which Jesus rode into Jerusalem was not that day. When Jesus returns, He will come as the King of kings, the Lord of lords and He will rule and reign. When that day comes, Jesus will come in judgment to judge the earth and all who live therein. No one will want to stand before King Jesus on that day unless they are already covered by the blood of the Lamb just as the apostle John said, “Unto [Jesus] who loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood...to him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen” (Revelation 1:5– 6, KJV 1900).

When Jesus rode into Jerusalem on that Sunday afternoon, He began His journey to the cross. The date was Nisan 10 on the Jewish calendar. It was the day in which the lambs were selected for the annual Passover sacrifice. On Nisan 14, Jesus Himself became that sacrifice. Jesus was the perfect Lamb of God, and He became the Passover Lamb, sacrificed for the sins of the world.

Today, I welcome Jesus as the King of my life who reigns over my life + over the life of the church on the face of this earth, and for Him to reign + rule the earth forevermore. And, I praise Jesus for cleansing my suns away so that I may attain His righteousness (2 Corinthians 5:21, KJV 1900) having Jesus to reign as King in my heart today.

Is Jesus your King in your life reigning in your heart today?
