Waiting for the dawn

During my devotional reading, I saw how the Psalmist waited for the Lord to deliver him from the depths of his sin once he confesses it. He longed to see the Lord bring light into his darkness (Psalm 130:5–6, NIV). This teaches me to express earnest longings for me to look for the coming of Christ in which it can translate as His church towards heaven (Hebrews 6:17, NIV) – assuring us of the hope, steadfastness, and patient waiting for the fulfillment of God’s promises.

As such, I praise God that I am an heir of the promise as I walk by faith of faithful Abraham – a God who gives me the hope, steadfastness, and patient waiting for the fulfillment of God’s promises to be fulfilled in my life – and having Christ as the anchor to my soul to help me live in fulfillment of the divine plan of God that He has for my life.

Is Christ the fulfillment promise in your life today?
