The Poorer Language

Dear Blogger Friends,
Here is your inspirational message below!

The Poorer Language:
In my today’s meditation, I observed on how often we do gain our joy from the Lord who provides us spiritual strength that would calm our fears and have our hearts be at peace with God once we take the Word of God seriously daily in our lives like how the Israelites did (Nehemiah 8:9-12). The people might not understand God’s ways because His ways are higher than their ways, God’s thoughts are higher our thoughts to fulfil the gospel plan of salvation (Isaiah 55:8-9).

Indeed, C.S Lewis pointed in Screwtape Proposes A’ Toast and said how the tongues phenomenon on the Day of Pentecost might have appeared on the onlooker to be nothing, but an expression of nervous excitement or hysteria.

It is here that I reflect on how would God be able to raise us by His power and be sanctified by Holy Spirit in whom we are justified through the name of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 6:11-14).

Let’s be sanctified by the Holy Spirit in our lives today!

Mother’s Day – Love You Forever

Dear Blogger Friends,

Here is your inspirational message below!

Mother’s Day – Love You Forever:
I give thanks to God for providing me with a good mother who loves me, cares for my well-being and she that she feeds me well to nourish my body so that I’ll be able to grow up as a strong person daily as someone who is a well-nurtured and well-brought up person with a sound mind. I truly love my mum very much! And, I also praise God to understand how He has shown me the love of a heavenly Father who cares for me spiritually and would nourish my being spiritually.

As apostle John says, “And so we know and rely on the love God has for us; God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him” (1 John 4:16) as I did my weekend’s meditation today:

I also give thanks to God to understand that no matter what I do, or how much have I changed Christ is always there with outstretched arms, whispering over me saying, “I’ll love you forever” and this could be the same expressive words in response to God and to my mother He’s given me.

My love for my mother is reflective as I express my love to Christ!

How are you expressing your love to your mother as to Christ today?

Happy Mother’s Day!

The Ascension

Dear Blogger Friends,

Here is an inspirational message below!

Celebrating Jesus’ Ascension isn’t merely celebrating a historical event that’s dead in the past. In fact, it is a time where you & I enter into the heavenly places as we respond to Jesus Christ with worship, praise, joy, and blessing where we are seated in the heavenly places with Jesus Christ.

As I did my Ascension’s reading upon Acts 1:10 today, I consider how the early disciples and the apostles worshiped Christ in His Ascension now had to be worshiped by a faithful obedience to all that He had commanded them to do, and how they had to wait for the coming of the Holy Spirit, and then to preach the Good News to the world.

Today, I pondered to have understood how I have the responsibility to fulfill the Great Commission, to go and preach the Good News to pre-believers today that Jesus Christ has died on the Cross for their sins, that He rose again with the power of God, that He has ascended into heaven where He reigns over heaven and earth and is preparing a place for you and me in heaven.

With this in mind, I long to be Christ’s disciple and be baptized & faithfully obey all that He has commanded me to preach the gospel to pre-believers today, as I humble myself to walk in obedience and sharing with others how His Kingdom has come and that King Jesus rules in my life as I learn to intercede in prayer in unity with Christ being our High Priest (Hebrews 4:14-16, 5-10.).

By this, I truly desire to let my heavenly and earthly missions of worship and work become one as I win souls for the LORD through sharing of the gospel with others on this Ascension Day.

Are you letting your heavenly and earthly missions of worship and work become one as you share the Good News and to win souls for the LORD today?

The Church in Europe

Dear Blogger Friends,

Do pray for Church in Europe!

The Church in Europe:
Emerging church movements have flourished over the past decades, resulting in thousands of fellowships among younger people. Such movements are becoming more mature; they often operate from a missional platform and assist the traditional churches in reaching out to the younger generation more effectively. These dynamic networks often align more along the lines of subculture than of ethnicity or nationality; charismatic practices, worship music, creative prayer, a communal ethos and grassroots social engagement are their hallmarks. Do pray for them to capture the right balance of wisdom, passion and biblical understanding. Do pray that they might have a renewing and redemptive impact on the Church and society respectively.
