HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH SIN – Personal Sanctification

As I meditated upon what the Scriptures said, “For seven days no leaven shall be found in your houses, since whoever eats what is leavened, that same person shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he is a stranger or a native of the land” (Exodus, 12:19, NKJV), I noted how the children of Israel had to cleanse their homes of all leaven (yeast) – that symbolize of sin in their lives while they prepare for the Feast of Unleavened Bread. And, this prompts me to pray for God to remove sin from my life as I confess them out, knowing that the Lord is faithful and just God who forgives my sins (1 John 1:9, NKJV). By this, I pray for God to sanctify me so that I’ll become increasingly more like Christ.

Hence, this causes me to make amends as I come clean with God – letting Him to restore my relationship with Him – as I allow His Godliness to be reflected through my faith in Christ today, as I did my reading.

Do you intend to restore your relationship with God who’s just + faithful God to forgive your sins today?

Prayer Response to this featured article:
Jesus, forgive us for being casual about sin. Enable us to be shaped by your Word. Help us to abide in your holy rules – not letting us to give in to temptation and that you’ll not let us be tempted beyond what we can bear but will provide a way out so that we can endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13, NKJV).
