To Be Free, Remember God’s Promises

In my Lenten’s meditation, I believed how fear never gives us a life of freedom as it always limits us. Yet, as I meditated upon how the apostle John said, “We have known and believed that God loves us. God is love. Those who live in God’s love live in God, and God lives in them. No fear exists where his love is. Rather, perfect love gets rid of fear, because fear involves punishment. The person who lives in fear doesn’t have perfect love” (1 John 4:16/18, GW), I read how Jesus unlocked the fear of being imprisoned of the disciples that locked them from inside while He was dead yet Jesus releases them from their fear when He rose up from the dead on the every first Easter’s morning. Indeed, the Scriptures said, “That Sunday evening, the disciples were together behind locked doors because they were afraid of the Jews” (John 20:19, GW).

Today, I give thanks to God to know how much He has loved me and know that He will never stop loving me today, and that I need not to panic or feel afraid because of giant things surrounding me today. Truly, I praise God that He has a plan for me as I go about fulfilling the Kingdom Assignments that Jesus is assigning me presently. Indeed, I believe that God’s plan is always good specializes in bringing good out of bad and that He turns crucifixions into resurrections, just like the apostle Paul said, “We know that all things work together for the good of those who love God – those whom he has called according to his plan” (Romans 8:28, GW).

Indeed, the disciples responded in fear and despair to Jesus’ death on the cross, but God brought out the salvation of humanity and He turns it into something good.

What has God brought good out of bad in your life today?
